With the steady increase in demand for electricity, it is becoming crucial to find more efficient and reliable ways to handle bulk materials. Faced with the challenges presented by conventional material conveying methods in power plants, such as adaptability to different fuels, dust issues and equipment stability, our innovative bulk material handling solution stands out by significantly improving the logistics of these processes.
Developed specifically for the power generation industry, our bulk material handling system effectively addresses and overcomes these challenges. By implementing advanced material handling technology, anti-dust measures and intelligent controls, we achieve a conveying system that is not only efficient and clean, but also robust and reliable. Our focus is on operational flexibility, enabling the efficient handling of a wide range of fuels and minimizing the environmental impact of particulate emissions.
Coal transportation and ash residue management represent a major challenge within the traditional power generation industry. Our advanced bulk material handling system ensures a constant and stable flow of coal, using equipment designed with highly wear-resistant materials. This innovation not only extends the durability of our conveying system, but also reduces maintenance periods, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable power plant operation. This not only supports the uninterrupted operation of power plants, but also serves as a solid foundation for their reliable operation. Our conveyor belt systems, including general, tubular and wide-angle corrugated edge conveyor belts, are designed to meet the diverse needs of the power industry, ensuring operational efficiency and environmental compliance.
Belt Conveyor System for Tanjung Jati B’s Power Station Project in Indonesia
The project at the Tanjung Jati B power station, located in the Central Java province of Indonesia, stands out as a model of efficiency and technological advancement in the power generation industry. With the financial support of the American company BV and the execution by Huadian Heavy Industries, of the Huadian group, this project has marked a milestone in coal-fired power generation with its expansion of two units of 660 MW each. This breakthrough has positioned the Tanjung Jati B coal supply system among the top ten coal-fired power projects globally.
Within this project, the conveyor belt system plays an important role in ensuring an efficient and continuous supply of coal. With a total of twenty conveyor belts, varying in width between 1,200 and 1,400 mm, and a 400 mm diameter tubular conveyor spanning 9,376 metres, the project incorporates a deepwater discharge terminal capable of processing 1,500 tons of material per hour and extends 1.2 kilometers out to sea. This strategic design underlines the capacity and future vision of the Tanjung Jati B project.

For the CNOOC Group's Huizhou power plant project we supplied a comprehensive conveyor belt system designed to optimize material handling. Composed of five conveyors, the conveyor system includes four pipe belt conveyors, a stacking and retrieval machine, and a ship loader. This strategic design ensures efficient and smooth operation, underscoring our commitment to cutting-edge materials handling solutions.
Power Plant Project in Vietnam
This project involves a complete coal transfer system for a power plant, ensuring smooth coal transportation from offshore coal vessels to coal storage yards and from storage to the power generation units for distribution. The coal transfer system includes a total of 11 belt conveyors with two belt widths (B1400mm and B1800mm). The longest single conveyor spans up to 2 kilometers, with a total length of approximately 5 kilometers. This coal transfer system is equipped with key components such as distribution and diversion valves, 10-meter-long hoppers, two unloading cars, full-length rain covers, and supporting structures including cable trays and light racks. With a total power capacity of approximately 4200kW, these conveyors are designed for long-distance transport, large-span operations, and steep incline conveying, ensuring efficient and reliable coal handling for power generation.
