With the increasing global energy demand, the demand for efficient and environmentally friendly coal transportation methods is also increasing. In the coal mining industry, challenges such as dust dispersion, rapid equipment wear and low transportation efficiency are obstacles that require innovative and sustainable bulk material handling solutions.
In response to this, our belt conveyor systems designed specifically for the coal industry focus on overcoming these obstacles. By adopting advanced dust control technologies, wear-resistant materials and intelligent control systems, we achieve bulk coal transportation that is efficient, clean and stable. Additionally, our solutions are focused on optimizing transportation efficiency and reducing energy waste, thus offering mining companies a path to more sustainable logistics operations.
Our bulk materials handling system can be designed to meet the demands of coal mining, allowing large volumes of coal to be transported efficiently. This ensures smooth operation in mining projects, thanks to our ability to handle long transportation distances and adapt to the specific needs of each project.
CHN Energy Group’s Bulk Material Handling Project in Desert Open-Pit Mining Area of Xinjiang
For the Xinjiang Desert open pit mining project, CHN Energy Group requested an innovative stacker capable of handling coal dust. This stacker is not only versatile with its tilt, extend and swivel capabilities, but can also be controlled both on site and remotely. It boasts a transport range of 30.8 m to 40.8 m, with a capacity of 1,500 t/h. Designed for efficiency, it has a belt width of 1200 mm, an adjustable belt speed of up to 4.0 m/s and can stack materials to heights ranging from 4 to 12 m. Its inclination angle varies between 8° and 17°, powered by motors totaling 135kW. In addition, its telescopic movement extends up to 10.4 m at a speed of 0.1 m/s, while its turning function allows mobility at a rate of 0.1 to 0.2 m/s, supported by two 4 kW motors.
Bulk Material Handling Project in Queensland, Australia
Located in Queensland, Australia, this innovative bulk materials handling project features two conveyor belts with a combined length of 4,300 meters. A belt, with a width of 1050 mm, transports 1400 tons per hour at 4 meters per second. The other, wider at 1200 mm, handles 2000 tons per hour at the same speed.
These conveying systems use trolley-type tensioning devices and are constructed with 3-meter modular sections for the frames and roller groups, allowing them to be easily expanded as the mine develops. The storage capacity of the belt is 300 meters, maintained by winch tensioning.
Located on the outside of the tunnel, the head of the conveyor includes a double walkway platform. Below, the storage belt area and drive mechanism are fenced for added security, ensuring a reliable and efficient material transport solution.
