• As the locking bolts are tightened, the inner and outer tapered rings are drawn together, sliding against each other axially.
• This sliding motion forces the inner ring to contract firmly around the shaft, while the outer ring expands against the hub.
• The resulting high-capacity radial pressure creates a powerful, uniform frictional lock that securely transmits torque and axial loads.
