Conveyor impact beds are designed to protect conveyor belts at loading zones and transfer points where heavy material impact occurs. Installed beneath the belt under the skirtboard or Conveyor Skirtboard System, the impact bed replaces traditional impact idlers with full-width belt support and high-performance impact bars, helping reduce belt damage, improve belt stability, and suppress dust and material spillage.
The impact force of bulk materials dropping from the chute is dissipated progressively through the multi-layer system: UHMW-PE surface layer (low friction) → high-elasticity rubber layer (energy absorption) → steel structural support frame (load-bearing)
